Can someone get an appetizer and beverage in a lounge for a quick bite, or is there only dining room service? What are the hours for the lunch menu and/or the dinner menu??
Really fresh seafood right by the Charles River!
Very nice old world fish house. Great Haddock, excellent service. A little pricey.
MoreIt's absolutely Wonderful! My family and i went to dine (on Christmas day) to Atlantic Fish Co to start off the waiter was absolutely Marvelous he knew what you want before you mention it (incredible) and he knew he speak to you as well as serve you (Daniel) now, the was π great!! The Clam Chowder is very good and for my daughter she had French π fries which she loves as well as the hamburger my wife had the Captain's Platter (in which is call the Fishermen's platter) and i had their Lobster Roll which was wonderful. When going to Downtown Boston and you are looking for a great restaurant put "Atlantic Fish" high on you list!
MoreThe food was on point. It's expensive but well worth it.. the food was fresh and amazingly cooked perfect. Took my parents there and they loved it. They live on the water in road island and had there fair share of seafood they weren't pleasantly pleased with everything.
MoreFantastic seafood. The sesame tuna was exquisite. Service not the best and a few off plates. 4.5 stars.
MoreWe went here because someone read online that they had the best clam chowder, and we were in the mood for some on a Friday night. It ended up being pretty solid clam chowder, and you end up getting a ton of it in the bowl. We also got the fish and chips, which I would be less likely to recommend but it honestly wasn't bad. This place is pretty pricey though, and it's generally pretty busy. So it may take some time to get a seat and that seat might not be worth the cost in the end.
MoreWalked in rain and snow for 8 min from the Sheraton and definitely worth it. The waitress is professional and nice. Chowder is a must have and it is just amazing. Main dishes were also great, sea bass seared to perfection. Didnβt try lobster not oysters since we had a flight to catch, but it looks very good. Looking forward to coming back
MoreHad a beautiful dinner after being proposed to on 8/15/19. We were waited on by Jay, the BEST in the game. If you list categories he would 5 star them all. Superb service topped with professionalism. As far as the Food, Cant say enough, EXCELLENT!!!!
MoreSimply wow. The food and service were impeccable. Our server, Christopher, was extremely helpful and patient in explaining and offering substitutions. Fantastic food and evening.
MoreExcellent service and a wonderful place to treat yourself for lunch. Everything was freshly made in-house and well presented. I started with the New England Clam Chowder which was amazing. The seafood medley salad was hearty with various pieces of well-seasoned seafood. The entire dish had a very nice and well-balanced. I finished off my meal with their version of a Boston Creme pie which had homemade custard and was not overly sweet. My only regret is not trying something from the raw bar.
MoreOk, the food was good and the extra star is for that. The service? The waiter name Connor was rude and we did not feel welcomed. We sat around for about 15 minutes and tried to get someone to take our order. 2 people I made eye contact for help turned away and ignore me. Connor finally came and took our order. About 20 minutes later I had to ask to get our bread. Later, a lady brought our food decided to just place them all on the table without asking which plate belongs to who...One of the plates came out late and was wrong order, which had to be corrected.Overall, we came out of that place feeling disrespected.
MoreThe wait staff was very friendly i couldnβt decide between the lobster roll or the crab cake. The atmosphere at the bar was lovely. The crab cake had too much filling (stuffing). The oysters were tasty.
MoreStarting with the bread to the main course everything was great. The bread was so soft and it also was served with a blueberry muffin which was also very good. The steamed mussels were super tasty. We also had the New England Clam Chowder in the bread bowl (a must). Texture, flavor and consistency was perfect. The lobster roll was good too.
MoreI have enjoyed a few delicious meals and cocktails at the Atlantic Seafood Co. The service has always been good even at peak dinner hours. The swordfish, halibut, and sea bass were all fresh and expertly prepared. The sea bass is my favorite thus far with a light golden char on the outside providing the perfect contrast to the buttery inside that practically melts in your mouth. Try their take on the Mule for a creamy, smoldering, ginger cocktail. And their breadbowl chowdah will not disappoint.
MoreDecent seafood with good seasoning at reasonable prices. Logistics: restrooms nice and clean down the stairs in the center of the restaurant. The salad was surprisingly good, and would recommend adding that for some vegetables to a meal. Docked one star as while it's a great restaurant I don't know if I would go out my way to eat there again.
MoreDecided to try this place while vacationing from Kentucky. I ordered the fisherman's platter and it was absolutely amazing. Our server was friendly and attentive.
MoreI need to say that our server, Carla. was so attentive to my daughter's meal needs. She listened to her, and communicated to us and the kitchen staff with enough, clear details. That meant everything to me and our family that my daughter gets gluten-free no contamination food, and Carla made sure of that. π Thank you!!
MoreAbsolutely divine clam chowder bread bowl and peppermint ice cream cake. Highly highly recommend! Also, excellent customer service!
MoreGreat food, drinks and staff. Reservations recommended. Valet is $20+ and shared with Abe & Louie's next door.
MoreIncredible. If you're reading this, you probably know what to expect. Yes, its that good. Anything on the menu is fantastic and wont leave anyone disappointed. The service is quick and friendly. I'd recommend one of their rotating dessert dishes, if you have any room left!
MoreGreat place to eat. Very unique items as per seafood goes. I ordered the Mediterrian Branzino. Love it. Server was super friendly. Would visit again.
MoreWe had cocktails and seafood appetizers before attending the Boston Ballet 's Nutcracker. We told our waiter,Jaison, that we had less than an hour before we had to head to the performance, and he was fast, efficient, and very nice. We had their clam chowder, followed by prosciutto wrapped scallops, fried oysters, and lobster crab Louie(lobster chunks, avocado, chopped tomato, with endives) with robust cocktails. Great food, elegant ambiance and convenient location.
MoreIt's easy to find a decent seafood restaurant in Boston, but a good one that you'd like to try again, not so much. Atlantic Fish is a rare one. An attractive ambience (sort of dark and clubby) where excellent fish -- of all kinds is delivered with good service at a reasonable price. Conveniently located in downtown Boston, close to the T, it's worth a detour even from the suburbs, and we'd be happy to return. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend it for haute cuisine (whatever that means for fish) but the food is well prepared and the menu has some original choices. Not at all pretentious (unlike some of its "historical" competition) you get good food and good value and I wager you'll be back.
MoreVery pleasant waitress. Rafaela was helpful and answered any questions we had. Very nice. Service was quick. Food was excellent! Wife and I had the lobster that was seasoned perfectly in a great sauce. Would go back again without a doubt!
MoreThe seafood was astronomically delicious and very fresh!. The service was also impeccable!!. We will definitely visit again
MoreWe ate there twice during our recent visit to Boston. Definitely the best place we ate at during our visit and probably one of the best places weβve ever eaten at in general. Excellent food and incredible service. Highly recommend.
MoreService is 5 star! Food was 4 star not the best but definitely good. Definitely will go there again.
MoreI had Salmon, new potatoes and snap peas. All was delicious. My drink was peach lemonade. The service was very timely. It is a bustling place. The prices were medium to high.
MoreFresh and delicious seafood! Great upscale restaurant that was family friendly. Their infused ice tea was phenomenal! Great ambiance and very busy. My kids loved the kids menu. Lots to choose from.
MoreWe rushed in at the last minute without a reservation and was immediately seated for lunch. We explained to Karla, our waitress, that we were in huge rush and needed to dine quickly; with the rush, our lunch was still delicious. The calamari was wonderfully prepared and was the best we have tasted. The lemonade was both refreshingly tarty and sweet.
MoreDefinitely a nice and very well known place. It is almost a must when visiting Boston. The restaurant is quite big, which helps to find a table as a walk-in customer for smaller parties. The food is very good and their clam chowder is famous. Worth a visit.
MoreThis is one of the best seafood restaurants in Boston. It is centrally located within walking distance of Copley Square. The food and service are excellent and the prices are reasonable. We strongly recommend this restaurant.
MoreHad a great experience sitting at the bar. Food is tasty and delicious, though not life changing. The best part is truly the service. Amazing staff from the front door to the servers to the bartenders. Everyone puts the guest first and it shows. Iβve been looking for a spot to come to when I am in town and I finally have a go to.
MoreTook the grandkids here for lunch before going to Symphony Hall. Can't waitfor another opportunity to go here.
MoreWe had lunch on Saturday with a large group,15! They accommodated us at a table of 11 and a table of 4 right next to them. It was a busy day so we were happy to seated immediately. The menu is great. Great soups salads and sandwiches for a mid-day meal. The lobster bisque was amazing with huge chunks of lobster in a wonderful creamy broth. A must have. The other 2 bests were their lobster roll, stuffed with huge chunks of lobster and their crab sandwich similarly filled with crab..As good as the food was the service was even better. Nicholas our server was a fun and attentive server. he made the dining experience complete. Go here you will not be disappointed!
MoreGreat service. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was delicious. Portion size to price was nice. I felt I got a lot of seafood for the price I paid. We got seated right next to the window so the view was amazing, people watching. Inside decor was warm and inviting. We parked at the parking ramp and that was super expensive even though you do get a discount for eating at the restaurant.
MoreAfter reading all of the reviews of this restaurant. We've decided to give it a try! We loved everything that we ordered and especially the crab and scallop Atlantic Fish Co . It's the best I ever had. Clam chowder is a must try; crab cake and fresh oyster for appetizer. We skipped the bread bowl for clam chowder just so we can have room for the other stuff! Lol! Will definitely come back for more fun!Atlantic Fish Co
MoreVisiting from out of town. The food and service were impeccable. Our server, Christopher, was extremely helpful and patient in explaining and offering substitutions. Fantastic food and evening.
MoreSo fish fans you will love this place. Great menu and great food. I'm allergic to shellfish so not a fish person but there are non-fish options. It's high end and pretty classy. Don't come too casual as no one else will be. You need to book as it gets busy and is very popular.
MoreOh my, this was a fun and tasty place to go! We sat at the bar and that turned out to be a great choice. Loved interacting with the bar and wait staff, they were all helpful, interesting, and most importantly, happy to be there. The dark wood and sparkling mirrors made a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Now, about the food. This place is known for its clam chowder and rightfully so. It was fragrant and yummy. I was particularly pleased because I am usually left out of the bread basket experience because of gluten intolerance, but this time I had a gluten free roll that was the absolute best gluten free bread I have ever had. Great fish dinner. Got the chocolate marquis to go. Another great choice. Canβt wait to go back.
MoreDuring our tour of downtown Boston we deviated from the Freedom Trail to give this place a try for lunch. Right off the street in the busy touristy area. Shop is small but there is room to sit and eat. There is even a high bar area with stools if that's what you prefer. Walk in check out the menu posted on the wall and order. We ended up getting the lobster roll with fries and a drink.
MoreI've eaten here twice and both times the food was amazing! The second time I got to try so many things and all of the appetizers, my entree and dessert were phenomenal. I highly recommend getting the seafood platter and trying the crab meat, oysters, shrimp. I had the black seared salmon and it was life changing. Their sides are so good. And my carrot cake dessert was to die for!
MoreAmazing clam chowder. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had. Staff was fantastic. Very busy place but worth the wait.
MoreGreat restaurants I ever work great food friendly people.! ππβΊβ€
most important, the food is great. The dinners themselves stand on their own, but what I feel really makes this place is their side dishes. From their roasted carrots to their spaetzle to their crispy new potatoes to their melted spring onions, every side is different and better than the last. Love it, coming back soon.
MoreMy wife and I sat at the bar and were fortunate to meet one of the best bartenders we have ever encountered. Amazing service, great food and beautiful ambience! Tae was her name and she made our experience that much better. I would be so lucky to have a bartender this good in any of our restaurants. The experience invigorated me to go back to work. Go and sit at the bar during the day. I will be back every year! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! The dessert was amazing!
MoreMy mother and I went in early March, before the pandemic. We were visiting Boston and we ended up there by chance. We dined at the bar place, where we had the best possible experience. The service was great, specifically our waiter. He was one of those people who make a site stand out. Delicious food, amazing oysters and wonderful atmosphere. I would repeat without hesitation and I highly recommend it.
MoreChristmas afternoon dinner was just about perfect; wouldn't change a thing. Very charming waiter who described with great enthusiasm the (most expensive) items on the menu. (Smile.) We liked her and service was excellent. Despite such a busy room, things felt wonderfully choreographed, staff and (partly visible) kitchen moving with purpose, but also seemed very genuine, with many wait staff warmly greeting regulars. The space is beautiful and food was dreamy; my guest is still raving about the chowder and the fried fish was the lightest and freshest anywhere. Loved the tiny little Brussels sprouts, which I substituted for french fries. First visit and we are fans.
MoreFantastic atmosphere, food, and service! We were a group of 10 visiting Boston on a conference. We were treated very well, and our server Carla was fantastic! Every recommendation she made was perfect-- even the drinks!! Highly recommend,we will come everytime when in town.
More12/06/2019 I went here twice for lunch and sat at the bar both times. My first visit I ordered the clam chowder in a bread bowl. The chowder was actually baked inside the crusty bread bowl. Absolutely delicious. On my second visit, I ordered the fried Fisherman's Platter which was excellent. Restrooms are downstairs behind hostess station. Bartenders Mr. Wember and Mr. Rares were exceptional
